Our families have had long generational ties with this area and the South African safari industry. The original founder of the reserve built his private lodge on the very site, of the now “Toro Views Villa” and “Toro Hills Manor”, back in 1994. Almost a decade ago we started making plans to acquire this prime site and the surrounding land, after falling in love with its absolutely stunning setting. Located high on a cliff, overlooking the Makhustwi river, the game-rich Toro Plains fading off to the North and the famed Drakensburg mountain sunsets to the west, there is truly no place so lovely or quite like it.
